Ben Schellenberg started Highend Developments in 2013 with a passion for the highest quality work. Today Highend Homes is a team of licensed, professional builders that prioritise attention to detail, craftsmanship and friendly customer service. They build Auckland wide and projects include new builds, renovations and extensions, as well as smaller jobs such as decks, fencing and staircases. Whether your budget is big or small, we’ll work with you to deliver a quality home you’ll love for years to come.
Ben holds a National Certificate in Carpentry, is a Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) and Master Builder.
From school-age, Ben's interests included hard materials/woodwork class, motorsports, water sports and fishing. After leaving school he chose to work in the building industry and became qualified with a company run by meticulous residential builders. He uses his expertise and experience to develop effective, quality-driven methods. Our in-house training ensures our qualified foremen and skilled apprentices meet the high standards of Highend Homes.

We are Licensed Building Practitioners
As LBPs, we have been assessed as competent to carry out building work essential to the structure or weather tightness of residential buildings. Any Restricted Building Work (RBW) needs to be carried out or supervised by an LBP.
